Chinking - The plaster-looking stuff between logs.
Walk-In Fireplace - Isn't as gory as might you think. A walk-in fireplace refers to a very large fireplace, typically designed for use in cooking. They often can accomodate large kettles, baking bread, cooking meat, and other cooking functions simultaneously. Much like a modern well-equipped kitchen. 1=trammel, 2=spit, 3=trivet, 4=toaster
